Relationships Shape the Way We Live.
Relationships influence how we experience love, communicate, handle conflict, experience intimacy, parent our children, navigate stress, and even the way we see ourselves. When relationships struggle, life often feels heavier.
Let us help you understand the patterns that keep you stuck and teach you how to develop healthier ways of connecting.

Meet the Team
Stephanie Mata, LMFT, LPC
Owner & Therapist
Couples | Relationships | Sex Therapy | EMDR | High conflict | Christian counseling
Relationships are at the core of what it means to be human. A sense of community and belonging is essential to our well-being. I’m deeply passionate about helping people strengthen their relationships, build confidence, and experience the love and connection they desire.
Rooted in psychodynamic and relational-cultural theories, I believe it’s crucial to explore your childhood, cultural background, relationships, and life experiences. This understanding helps reveal who you are today and how you navigate the world, providing insight that shapes your journey toward healing and growth. This self-awareness opens the door to greater love and intimacy, while nurturing personal growth and fostering stronger connections with others for a more meaningful life.
For those interested in faith-based counseling, I can integrate Christianity into therapy upon request.

MORE THAN THERAPY. Building Healthier Communities Through Connection
At Stephanie Mata Therapy, we believe mental health doesn't exist in isolation it grows through connection, support, and community. While therapy can create meaningful change for individuals and families, lasting impact happens when communities work together to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and increase access to mental health resources.
That's why we're committed to serving beyond the counseling office through community partnerships, education, workshops, and advocacy.
Stephanie proudly volunteers with the Manor Wellness Alliance - Manor Mental Health, a community initiative in Manor, Tx dedicated to breaking barriers to mental health care, reducing stigma, and connecting individuals and families with resources that help them thrive.
Our hope is to help build a community where conversations about mental health are welcomed, support is accessible, and no one feels like they have to face life's challenges alone.
